Parenting Classes: Nurturing Parenting Program

The Southern Illinois Resource and Advocacy Center is excited to announce open enrollment for The Nurturing Parenting® Program. NPP is a family-centered, trauma-informed series designed to empower parents and caregivers with the tools they need to build strong, nurturing relationships.

Our Approach

The Nurturing Parenting Program focuses on strengthening families through education and compassionate support, with the goal of helping parents build the skills and confidence needed to create safe, stable, and nurturing home environments. Through this program, families are supported in preventing future involvement with social service systems, breaking cycles of generational abuse and neglect, and fostering long-term family wellness rooted in knowledge, connection, and resilience.

Who Should Attend?

Any caregiver ready to invest in their family’s future. Whether you are just starting your parenting journey or looking for extra support along the way, these classes offer practical, real-life strategies you can apply immediately.

Open to all parents and caregivers—whether you’re here by choice or by referral, you are welcome.

Class Schedule

Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm-2pm, starting the first Tuesday of each month. Classes are held on Zoom. Flexible scheduling is optional.
